Across six learning modules, three optional live sessions, and an end-of-course strategy simulation, participants will explore how Unarmed Civilian Defense (UCD) has been used to counter invasion, occupation, dictatorship, and war. The course draws on insights from peace and conflict studies, civil resistance, unarmed civilian protection, human rights, community security, social movements, and media and communications, offering a grounded understanding of both theory and practice. Through global case studies, practical tools, and collaborative learning with a diverse cohort, participants will gain concrete strategies for defending life, dignity, and democracy through people-powered action — without war. |
